Diskovery have been supplying educational technologies to schools, colleges and home clients since 1993. Our mission has been to offer advice and provide the access to the best software and ICT equipment to facilitate learning. We are the appointed Irish distributors for many leading manufacturers and publishers such as Inspiration, Sherston, 4Mation, Neptune, Eureka and Mimio to name but a few. We aim to offer only products that have strong links to education from Irish and international companies that are well founded offering continued product development and backup services.
In recent years we have focussed on professional development and ICT training, helping clients to the get the most from their technology investment. We offer training, both online and in-class on many of the technologies we supply. We also provide training in Mind Mapping. Our founder Ken Wickstone holds a Masters Degree in Learning Technologies from the National College of Ireland. Ken is also a (licenced by Buzan) Mind mapping instructor. Clients include Schools, Dyslexia Associations, VEC’s and the Curriculum Development Unit’s JCSP programme. We have also provided technology training to the National Educational Psychology Service.
We welcome approaches from technology companies with a view to distribution of quality, appropriate learning content or devices. Through our network of consultants, former teachers and key influencers we have the scope to locate and develop niche markets.
